The human nervous system is a vast and complex center of operations. Here, the chemical and electrical impulses which animate our form originate. This system is affected by both inner and outer experiences: every joy, trauma, memory, injury and healing are stored in the central nervous system.
Rachel offers sessions addressing nervous system health. Clients report feeling more centered, at rest in themselves, with increased connection to their inner radiance.
Rachel has studied Polarity with Suzanne Roberts since 2010. Polarity is a system of healing developed by Dr. Randolph Stone, who over a lifetime of medical and esoteric studies managed to bridge the gap between science and spirituality and map how different elemental energies (Source energies) flow through the human system. Polarity utilizes different body contact points, intention, presence work and dialogue to help people connect with their inner radiance. From this space of inner and interconnectedness, we find rest and restoration, approaching life from a space of resource rather than exhaustion.
Rachel began practicing Craniosacral Therapy (CST) in 2001. CST accesses the central nervous system (CNS) through gentle, intentional touch, using the spine and cranial bones as levers to access and release membranes and tissues in the CNS. This facilitates the flow of cerebrospinal fluid, which bathes the CNS in a rhythmic flow. CST is deeply relaxing and overlaps in theory and practice with Polarity.
Both systems of healing connect practitioner and client with the client’s inner wisdom. Rachel has spent many years cultivating the ability to listen deeply to her clients’ systems and follow the innate wisdom that knows what the system needs to heal.
Reiki Training
Reiki is a non-denominational form of energy healing that involves channeling energy from the Universal Field. Reiki healers are trained in methods and philosophy and participate in a ceremonial attunement process which prepares the energy field to channel energy.
This training is in the traditional Usui method of Reiki healing. We use Diane Stein’s book Essential Reiki.
Reiki Instruction and attunement is offered in three levels. Reiki I addresses physical level healing and self healing. Reiki II deals with emotional level healing, as well as distance healing. Students receive the third reiki symbol in this training. Reiki III is the master/teacher level. Training includes spiritual level healing and teacher training.
Students can sign up for one level at a time, or all three levels.
